1. Acceptance

By using Shiftlyn, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use Shiftlyn on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

3. What the service does

Shiftlyn asks you about your role, tasks, experience and skills — or reads them from a resume you upload — and uses AI models to produce an estimated AI displacement risk score together with an analysis, peer benchmarks, suggested skills, career pivots, an action plan and links to live job and course listings.

The free assessment gives you a score and summary. The full report is a one-time paid unlock. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

5. Your account

Accounts use one-time codes sent to your email instead of passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at info@shiftlyn.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

6. Payments

• The full report is sold as a one-time purchase, in Indian Rupees (INR). It is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically.
• The exact price is shown to you on the payment screen before you pay, and is inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise there.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are handled by them, not by us.
• We may change prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase you have already completed.
• Access to the full report is granted to the account that paid for it, for that account's own use.

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload anyone else's resume or personal data without their permission.
• Submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content.
• Scrape, crawl, resell, sublicense or redistribute reports, listings or any other part of the service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload or bypass the security, rate limits or paywall of the service.
• Use the service to build or train a competing product or model.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

We may suspend or terminate access — without refund — where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

8. Content you provide

You keep ownership of everything you submit, including your resume. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content for the purpose of operating the service and producing your report, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to submit it.

9. Our content

The Shiftlyn name, site, design, copy, scoring methodology and software are owned by Shiftlyn and protected by intellectual property law. Your report is licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish or resell it.

10. Third-party listings and links

Job openings, courses and news items are sourced from third parties and shown for convenience. We do not verify, endorse or take responsibility for them, for the accuracy of a listing, or for anything that happens after you leave our site. Applying for a job or buying a course is a transaction between you and that third party.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may suspend it for maintenance, and features that depend on third-party AI providers, payment gateways or data sources can be affected by their outages.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiftlyn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of earnings, employment opportunity, profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of — or reliance on — Shiftlyn. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Shiftlyn against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or content you submitted that you had no right to submit.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — payment, liability, indemnity, governing law — do.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use Shiftlyn after a change means you accept it.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
